I was sitting at my computer, and heard a thunk from something landing on my air conditioner. I suspected that a bird had flown into the window above it. Whatever it was, I didn't hear it leaving, so I grabbed the camera to get a shot of whatever it was. Finding this little rodent instead of a bird surprised me. It seemed a bit stunned. If I had to guess, I'd say it was probably grabbed by a bird, and managed to get free, which is how it ended up on top of my ac unit. It stayed on there for a few minutes, even though the flash startled it, before it decided to run away from me.

Though I am not positive, my best guess is that this particular rodent is a deer mouse. It could potentially be a white-footed mouse, but that is unlikely as none of the places I searched indicated that white-footed mice live in Washington State.
