May 11, 2005 - Anti War Protest in Downtown Tacoma

This isn't straight photojournalism. These images have been dodged and burned for creative purposes.

While stuck in traffic returning from a photo shoot elsewhere in Tacoma, these protesters caught my attention. I guessed at exposure, stuck the camera out the window and shot. For the last one, I was actually moving, so even the composition was a guess.

From looking at the signs, it appears that United for Peace of Pierce County and a Tacoma group affiliated with Women in Black organized/participated in the protest.
